Athens activists march in solidarity with Rojava: “Fascist Murderer Erdogan”

ATHENS, GREECE

The Kurdistan Cultural Center and the Revolutionary Youth Movement called for a march which was participated by thousands of Kurdistanis, as well as anarchist and leftist, socialist groups. The march, which was supported by the Greek people, started from Akademia Square.

The march continued with the posters of the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, the flags of YPG/YPJ, and banners about the Cenga Rojava resistance and Turkish state occupation.

During the march, leaflets were distruped on the occupation attacks, while passersby supported the march with applause and whistles. The acitvists were heard chanting “fascist, murderer Erdogan” and “Long live the resistance of Rojava”, walking up to the Turkish embassy.

A rally was held in front of the embassy, ​​where the police took intensive security measures. There were speeches made on behalf of the Kurdistan Cultural Center and the left, socialist groups.
