The brother of the Peoples’ Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Mehmet Öcalan, and his guardian Mazlum Dinç applied to the Bursa Public Prosecutor’s Office to visit the Leader in İmralı.
Relatives of other prisoners in İmralı; Ömer Hayri Konar’s brother Emin Konar, Hamili Yıldırım’s brother Polat Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş’s brother Melihe Çetin and his daughter Eylem Çetin, also applied to the prosecutor’s office through their lawyers.
Since August 12, the families’ applications have been rejected.
