SDF fighters Ednan Bîlîn (Şernas), Seed El-Abdullah (Baz Tirbespiyê) and Self-Defense Forces warrior Nûkar Mîraz, who were martyred in the Cenga Rojava Resistance, were commemorated during a ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by thousands of citizens and began with a minute of silence. Afterwards, TEV-DEM Executive Board Member Aldar Xelîl stated that the Turkish state targets all peoples and beliefs in the occupation attacks.
“The occupation attacks are aimed at the democratic project, the common will of the peoples and the unity of the peoples,” Aldar said. Pointing out the resistance against the invaders, Xelîl emphasized that the resistance of the peoples in unity is a message to the whole world.
During the ceremony, the names of three other martyred warriors; Selim Mihemed (Mîtan Dêrik), Qasim Xelef (Baran Çilaxa) and Xelîl Osê (Çekdar Dêrik) were shared.
