Mihaildin Xeyrikî, a member of the Dêrik Military Assembly, evaluated the invasion of the Turkish state against Rojava and Northern Syria to the Nûçe Ciwan Agency. He stated that he is taking place in this struggle by fighting alongside the people of Xeyrikî and expressed that the youth should take an active resistance in this period. Xeyrikî continued as follows:
“WE ARE NOT AFRAID TO PAY THE PRICE”
“The invading Turkish state has started an attack with gangs with the latest advanced technology. Against this, they are struck every day by our courageous forces. They have not been able to take a step since the day the attacks were started.”
Emphasizing that they did not hesitate to pay as a movement, Xeyrikî continued: “We are a movement of martyrs, we have come to where we are by paying heavy prices. There are promises we made to our thousands of comrades who died in this cause. We’re fighting today. We can be martyred. We did not hesitate to pay for this honorable path. Here again I would like to call on the youth of Rojava and the whole of Kurdistan. Come fight this honorable path. Let’s not leave the blood of our martyrs on the ground. The first task for us all today is to fight.
“THE SERKANIYÊ RESISTANCE IS RECOGNIZED”
Serêkaniyê is known for its resistance since the beginning of the Rojava revolution. At the beginning of the revolution, Al-Nusra gangs attempted to enter but were unable to. With the liberation of Serêkaniyê, we can say that it was the beginning of the Rojava revolution. On this day, the same spirit and morale Serêkaniyê leads the resistance. The invaders attack with thousands of soldiers and gangs with mortars and howitzers. But it should be well understood that Serêkaniyê will again be the place where the invaders are finished and defeated. There, our friends serve heavy blows to the invaders every day. The more they attack, the more they will suffer. ”
Miheydin Xeyrikî ended his speech again by calling for youth. “The leading force of the revolution is the youth. Today there is an attack on our revolution. The force that protects this is youth. Therefore, I urge all young people to stand for resistance positions with YPG, YPJ fighters.”
