Three university students who distributed leaflets for boycotting Turkish goods in Silemanî, Southern Kurdistan (KRG), were detained by the YNK public order.
The YNK public order reported that the leaflets were distributed without permission as the reason for detention. The names of the detained youth are as follows: Merziye Ehmed, Cîgir Mihemed, Arî Ehmed
As it is known, after the invasion operation of the Turkish state against Rojava Kurdistan, a campaign was launched to boycott Turkish goods in Southern Kurdistan. This campaign has been widely influential as many national companies have stopped selling goods imported from Turkey; according to reports from the region, very few customers have continued to purchase the boycotted products.
