ROJAVA
Hundreds of civilians were massacred in the invasion of the Turkish state against Rojava Kurdistan and northern Syria. The massacres of the occupying Turkish state in Girê Spî, where the use of chemicals was discovered, continue.
Speaking to our agency, Heyva Sor a Kurd employee Newroz Xelil, stated that despite the ceasefire declared medical teams could not enter Serêkaniyê. Newroz continued: “There are attacks on our medical staff. They also targeted the hospital many times. As a result of hospital attacks in Serêkaniyê, the hospital became unusable. So we wanted to move the wounded there to another city, but the occupying Turkish state is preventing it. The so-called ceasefire has been signed but the attacks have not stopped. The number of wounded is increasing day by day. The most martyrs in the attacks are children and women.
There are huge differences between the wounded in the first days of the attacks and those injured in the recent attacks. In the recent attacks, the burns on the bodies of the injured people are different. Smells come from the wounds. It doesn’t look like a normal wound. This is an indication that the occupying Turkish state is using chemicals.”
