A press conference was held by the Rojava and Northern Syria Autonomous Administration Health Committee Co-Chairman, Ciwan Mustafa, and Cizre Region Social Assistance Committee Co-Chairman Xalid Ibrahim, against the invasion of the Turkish state.

Ciwan Mustafa made the following statements:

“As a result of the occupation of the Turkish army targeting health centers in Serêkaniyê, these centers became out of service.

The city of Serêkaniyê, which has been under siege for 5 days, is completely besieged. Although there are dozens of wounded in the city hospital, there are many martyr’s funerals under the debris. 235 civilians, including 22 children, were killed and 677 civilians were injured. ”

Xalid Ibrahim said at a press conference:

“We are facing a humanitarian crisis. In the villages across the border, 300,000 people are still away from their homes. There are civilians in 42 school buildings in Hesekê.

On October 9, the water of the city of Hesekê was cut as a result of the bombing of the Elok water station in Serêkaniyê by the occupying Turkish army and gangs. ”
