ROJAVA
Democratic Syrian Forces (QSD) spokesman Kino Gabriyel made a written statement on the ceasefire agreement between the occupying Turkish state and the United States. Stating that the QSD has been in a defensive position since the ceasefire, Gabriyel said that the occupying Turkish state killed 13 fighters and 5 civilians since the agreement.
The written explanation is as follows:
“Our forces, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement announced yesterday, started to defend in all conflict zones starting from 17:00 local time on 22 October. Apart from the same response to attacks since this time, none of our units have attempted any action on the contact lines and occupied areas. Although the fighting in the Serêkaniyê front and its surroundings was partially alleviated, the Turkish military’s attacks with cannon and unmanned aerial vehicles and the harassment of the guided groups continued. As of 22:00, 13 of our fighters were killed in these attacks and 5 civilians were killed in air strikes against the civilian settlements in the south of Serêkaniyê.
We urge everyone involved, especially the forces involved and party to take this decision, to stick to the framework of the decision. We reserve the right to respond to any attack on our forces. ”
