The QSD Press Center issued a balance sheet on the 10th day of the invasion attacks that began on 9 October. According to the 18 October balance sheet, the invading Turkish state continued its attacks on Serêkaniyê, Qamışlo and Kobanê. In Serêkaniyê, the invading army tried to move from land and bombed the area with artillery shots. While Qamislo was the target of the bombings, an infiltration attempt in Kobane was frustrated.
According to the statement, the developments on three fronts are as follows:
Serêkaniyê:
After the ceasefire declaration, the invading Turkish state wanted to advance with armored vehicles and take some neighborhoods. Our forces have responded to every attempt within the framework of legitimate defense. As a result, three panzers were hit. In the clashes, 13 gang members were killed and 3 were injured. The invading Turkish army attacked Zirgan village to advance. Gang groups wanted to invade the village with air strikes and artillery shots. As our forces responded, and violent clashes errupted. In the clashes and air strikes, 12 fighters and one civilian fell martyr, 12 of our friends were injured. There were also clashes as a result of gang attacks against Menacir and Alya villages.
Qamişlo:
The invading Turkish army bombed Qamishlo with cannon and tank shots on Friday evening. As a result of the attacks, one of our friends was martyred and 4 were injured. Following these attacks, our forces responded by targeting the military base in Segirka where the attacks took place. While the military base was damaged, the ammunition depot was destroyed, many gang members and soldiers were killed.
Kobane:
In the evening, the invading Turkish army and gang groups tried to approach the positions of our fighters in secret in armored vehicles. As a result of our forces’ response, a military vehicle was detonated and many gang members were killed. Then the gangs, taking their funerals withdrew from the area. In addition, a BNB-type military vehicle was destroyed two days ago in Şêrgiradê. Five gang members were killed in this action.”
17 QSD WARRIORS FELL MARTYR
The QSD Press Center said, “In total, at least 18 soldiers and gang members were killed and several occupants were injured as a result of the resistance. During this resistance, 17 of our friends fought heroically were martyred and 25 of them were wounded. ”
CONFLICTS HAVE DEVELOPED DUE TO ATTACKS
“After the ceasefire declaration, all of our forces in the battlefields moved to a defensive position. All conflicts developed on the basis of responding to the attacks.”
