QAMİŞLO
The people gathered in front of the Assembly of Martyrs’ Families of Şamişlo and carried the funeral of Şevger Ehmed (Siyamend Qamişlo) who was martyred in Zirgan district on 27 October and Zekeriya Xelîl, who was martyred in Qamişlo on 26 October.
Speaking at the ceremony, TEV-DEM Co-President Zelal Ciger said, “The day is the day of resistance. The day is the day of rebellion against the dictator and the occupying Turkish state. Let the whole world know that we are in our lands and that we will protect our dignity. We do not accept the agreement that the peoples of northern and eastern Syria are not represented in, otherwise we know that the demands of the peoples will not be fulfilled. ”
Martyr Şevger’s brother Kanîwar Ehmed spoke at the ceremony and said that they are ready to sacrifice their lives for the lands of Rojava.
Following the speeches, Revîn Şêxmûs, member of the Assembly of Martyr Families, announced the record of YPJ warrior Sîma Al Sodî’n (Dilvîn Qamişlo) who was martyred in the struggle against the occupying Turkish state and FSA / El Nusra gangs on October 11 in Serêkaniyê.
