Live reports from the frontline of Serekaniye have revealed that the Turkish state is using the banned chemical white phosphorus in it’s ongoing attempts to occupy the region. While the clashes between SDF forces and the occupying Turkish gangs continue, reporters in the area have shared that the number of dead civillians is continuously increasing.
The Turkish occupiers are currently attacking phone lines to stop information from being shared to the outside.
White phosphorus can cause horrific injuries, burning deep into the muscle and bone. It is possible that some of it will only partially burn and could then reignite weeks after being deployed.
