A mass ceremonies were held for Demet Agit (Seyitxan Ayaz) Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Cemil Amed (Eser Irmak) Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the KCK who was martyred as a result of an attack carried out by the occupying Turkish state in Silêmaniye on 15 October.
The first ceremony was held in Silemaniyê with the participation of thousands of people. In the speeches made at the ceremony, the attitude of the people was generally in the direction of anger and vengance.
After the ceremony, the convoy of hundreds of vehicles set out to remove the martyrs’ funerals. Hundreds of people from the towns and villages of Kelar, Kirfi, Kirkuk, Chamchemal, Hewlêr, Halabja, Seyid Sadiq, Soran waited for the convoy at the exit of Suleymaniye, where the ceremony was held.
After the ceremony, a convoy consisting of hundreds of vehicles, travelled to Ranya, where thousands of people gathered from Ranya, Kaledize, Sengaser, Jarawa and villages in the region, greeting the convoy in front of the hospital where the funerals were held. The thousands chanted “the revenge of these murderers will be taken”.
After the ceremony in front of Ranya Hospital, the convoy consisting of hundreds of vehicles set off to Kandil’s Mehmet Karasungur burrial ground for martyrs.
During the passage of the martyrs’ funeral, the people of Sengaser closed the workplaces and lined up along the way, greeting the funeral and shouting the slogan “Fascist Erdoğan.”
A ceremony was also held at the Mehmet Karasungur burrial ground for martyrs.
