LUZERN
Actions against the invasion and genocide attacks of the Turkish state in Rojava are spreading.
With the participation of socialist groups, SP Luzern, Grüne Luzern, Jonge Grüne, and the participation of the political activists of the Turkish Republic and JCA activists a march was held in Luzern, Switzerland. Attended by nearly two thousand people, the slogans ‘Increase International Solidarity’ and ‘Bijî berxwedana Rojava’ were shouted frequently.
During the march, which also demanded the suspension of arms sales from the Swiss state to the fascist Turkish state, Davit Roht, the head of the Lucerne Canton, and Michael Töngi, the Swiss national parliamentarian, made speeches on behalf of the SP.
The activists later lit candles to commemorate the people murdered in Rojava, in the Mühlenplatz church.
