READING
A closed pub in Reading has been occupied by activists to raise awareness about the illegal invasion of Rojava (West Kurdistan) and N-E Syria.
The pub on Southampton street has now been renamed ‘Kobanî house’ and is currently occupied by activists from the Kurdistan Solidarity Network and friends of the Kurdish freedom movement. Although planned to be used as a social space, the building will also be used for education, where people will learn about the Rojava revolution.
