LONDON
Protesting the Turkish state’s invasion of Rojava, members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement closed Westminster, London’s busiest bridge, and hung PKK and YPG flags on the bridge.
With the call of the Revolutionary Youth Movement, hundreds of people gathered in London’s Trafalgar Square to protest the Turkish state’s invasion of North East Syria and civilian massacres. The young people made a statement condemning the invasion attempt and said, “In this process, we will continue our struggle by adhering to the memories of our martyred comrades. Fascism and barbarism will be defeated in Rojava.”
After holding a march, members of the Youth Movement blocked Westminster, London’s busiest bridge. The young people who continued chanting slogans, hung a banner reading “Stop Turkish invasion in N-E Syria” alongside PKK and YPG flags on the bridge.
