Hundreds of young women are joining the resistance ranks against the invasion of the invading Turkish state in Rojava and northern Syria. In a press release, Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan members announced that they had joined the YPJ ranks in the spirit of mobilization.
“As young women, we know our history and we will never forget it. An international conspiracy took place on 9 October. Today’s attacks are the continuation of the conspiracy. The invading Turkish state wants to occupy our country with the so-called ‘Safe Zone’. Let the enemy know that we will never leave our land. We have been training ourselves for years with the idea of Leader APO.
Leader APO’s ideas and philosophy will resist until the end. We appeal to all young women to protect their honor and dignity. Today is the day of lifting arms. As young women, we will raise our weapons and defend against the enemy. ”
Bermal Kobanê, who joined the resistance ranks, expressed her goals with the following words:
“We declared mobilization as young women because our enemy wants to occupy our land. We will never accept these attacks. It is our call to all young women to join the YPJ ranks and to resist for their dignity and honor. ”
Torî Judi, who joined the resistance ranks against the occupation attacks said:
“Today we joined the YPJ ranks with the spirit of mobilization. There are heavy attacks all over Rojava. We will never leave our land. We will protect our lands until the end.”
