HPG Press Liasion Center shared the identity of the two guerrillas, announced to who have fallen martyr. The HPG statement is as follows:
“In our statement dated 17 October, we shared with the public that one of our friends reached martyrdom as a result of the clashes that took place in the Tizyan area of the Savur district of Mardin on 10 October. The identity of our friend Azad Cudi who reached the martyrdom is as follows:

Our friend Azad Judi was born in 1989 in the city of Efrin in Rojava Kurdistan. Our comrade Azad, who grew up in an environment that has maintained the values of Kurdishness throughout history, met the Kurdish Freedom Movement at an early age. Azad, a nationally conscious friend, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2007 to defend every inch of Kurdistan and protect the values of the Kurdish people.
Comrade Azad, who soon became an active and militant fighter, served as a pioneer in many fields. Comrade Azad, a competent guerrilla commander, was active in the fight against the enemy on the battlefield and achieved significant successes. Comrade Azad defended the values of our people with great effort and sacrifice against Turkish fascism in Northern Kurdistan, lived every moment to the fullest and became a bouncer militant.”
“In our statement dated 19 October, we shared with the public that there were clashes between our forces and the occupying Turkish army in the village of İkizce village in Şırnak on October 17, and that one of our comrades who fought heroically against enemy troops was martyred. The identity of our comrade Bırindar Bane who reached martyrdom is as follows:

Our comrade Bindindar Bane was born in 1990 in Bane, Rojhilat Kurdistan. Comrade Bırindar, who was introduced to enemy reality at a young age, joined the Freedom Movement in 2014 to respond to the oppression, persecution and massacres against the Kurdish people. Comrade Bırindar joined the ranks with the awareness that the Kurdish people could not be freed without ending the occupation of Turkish fascism in Kurdistan geography and has embraced the struggle with its deep historical culture.
Comrade Bırindar, who exhibited an exemplary participation with great devotion and courage, soon became a competent guerrilla and fought against the enemy at the forefront. Comrade Bırindar, equipped with the trainings he received, went to Botan, the heart of the war in Northern Kurdistan and took his struggle against the enemy to the next level. Until the last moment, he fought for the freedom of the Kurdish people and became one of our comrades who showed how to stand against the enemy.
We would like to express our condolences to the patriotic Kurdistan people, especially the precious families of our comrades Azad and Bırindar.”
