HPG BİM made a written statement disclosing that two invading Turkish soldiers were killed in the area of Heftanin, where violent clashes took place during an occupation operation in Gürpinar and the occupation army launched an airstrike on Heftanin.
The statement is as follows:
2 SOLDIERS KILLED IN HEFTANIN
“In the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Movement, which is continuing in the field of the occupation operation initiated by the Turkish army invading the Heftanin from the Media Defense Areas, our forces organized an action against the soldiers located in Şehit Şêxmus area on October 12th. Two soldiers were killed in this action, where enemy positions were effectively shot.
VIOLENT CONFLICTS IN GURPINAR
At around 10 pm on October 10, the invading Turkish army launched an occupation operation in the village of Tüzek in the Gürpınar district of Van. In this operation, there were clashes between our forces and the invaders until the morning hours on 11 October. In these clashes where many enemy soldiers were killed and wounded, two of our friends who fought heroically against the enemy reached martyrdom. The identity information of our friends who reached the martyr will be shared with the public later.
AIR ATTACK TO HEFTANIN
At around 20.00 on 12 October, the fighter planes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the slopes of the Xantur Hill of Heftanin region from the Media Defense Areas. We did not suffer any loss in these bombings. ”
