HBDH made a written statement regarding the Turkish state’s occupation attacks in northern and eastern Syria. HBDH Executive Committee stated that the revolutionary forces will never surrender.
The description of HBDH is as follows:
“The T.C fascism invaded the territory of Rojava and started a genocide operation against the Kurdish people in Rojava, as well as the Arab, Assyrian-Assyriac, Armenian and Turkmen people in Syria. The purpose of this operation, which is called the source of peace, is to pass the peoples of the region and the revolutionary forces through genocide and massacre.
The T.C state wants to disrupt the demographic fabric in Syria, expel our rights from its territory and open new areas for ISIS gangs. The Free Syrian Army, organized by AKP-MHP fascism, is an extension of ISIS barbarism. This operation reaffirmed the partnership of ISIS and TAF.
The fascist T.C state aims to ally with the imperialist capitalist forces and the reactionary sections of the ISIS extension of the region to destroy the progressive, revolutionary and patriotic segments and to create fascism by creating hostility among the peoples. It develops with chauvinistic nationalism and racist discourse.
Turkey is in an economic, political and social crisis as a heavy living AKP-MHP fascism is trying to cover their conflict through military occupation and genocide. In particular, it aims Turkey’s society by shooting an intense psychological war on society to force these people to surrender; they are genocidal fascists imposing a genocidal fascists order. With detentions, arrests, killings and pressure the state aims to silence the voices against the fascist genocide and occupation.
People in Turkey and Kurdistan should not remain silent against oppression and massacre of T. C state, they must be organized and vigilant against psychological warfare. Our people should be enlightened with revolutionary propaganda against the lies and distortions of the militarist pit media.
Fascism tries to prove itself invincible by showing itself as strong, however the situation is infact the opposite. The resistance of the peoples of East and Northern Syria revealed how bloated and exaggerated the Turkish army and gangs are. The revolutionary war against NATO’s second largest army has been glorious. The revolutionary forces of Rojava fought heroically against the highest military technique, intelligence and advanced weapons. In these unequal conditions, Rojava had revolutionary forces fighting and winning fascism with great will.
The resistance of the Rojava revolutionary forces and peoples should not be abandoned. The opposition to the Syrian people and the Rojava revolution, the AKP-MHP fascism is just as much the enemy of the peoples of Turkey.
The united revolutionary struggle against those who salute the soldiers and salute the invading Turkish army is inevitable. If our enemy is one, the revolutionaries should be united, and they should make the fascists pay. We should not surrender our country and peoples to fascism.
This revolutionary-democratic and patriotic awareness in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan, must take immediate action, they must take place in the process of revolutionary resistance. For this, everyone should take action in their places. Fascism has not triumphed and weakened further on the road to defeat. Against this, with the mobilization and total struggle, the revolutionary democratic sections should turn every field into a field of resistance.
Our people should know that the revolutionary-democratic forces will never surrender to the racist, fascist nationalist mentality of the T.C state. The struggle against colonialism and fascism takes place by developing revolutionary war and action. There is no agreement with fascism, there is a struggle against fascism. Fascism is destroyed only by total struggle. Fascism is an enemy of the people, an enemy of humanity.
The fascism attacking North East Syria today will be applied to the people of Turkey tomorrow and will make larger massacres than in northern Kurdistan. There is an occupation, war and destruction in the character of fascism. It feeds on blood and violence. Knowing this character of fascism, we must raise the struggle.
In this context, all HBDH militias, revenge units and components must take immediate action and develop revolutionary action against fascist genocide and occupation. Fascism can only be stopped and defeated by developing and spreading revolutionary action and war. Silence is submission to fascism and obedience to death.
With a passive, anticipated, non-mobilizing understanding of struggle that does not mobilize its power and opportunities, fascism is indestructible and such a stance will only provide the ground for the increase of fascist attacks.
Revolutionary, democratic patriotic sectors should aim at all economic, military and bureaucratic institutions and sectors that support and feed fascism. Street actions, local actions based on mass violence, militia-style forms of actions in small units should be carried out in more creative and widespread forms.
It is the day to respond to the enemy in the language he understands, and to ask for the account of genocide and massacres. What should be done tomorrow, should be done now. Tomorrow is too late. Every revolutionary, democrat and patriot should protect their dignity and future.
In this context, HBDH will mobilize all its forces in the struggle against fascism and take on its revolutionary duties.

We must develop resistance against the fascists, imperialists and reactionaries with the Dev-genc spirit. Turkey and Northern Kurdistan will not surrender to fascist and racist nationalists. We will not accept the reactionary fascist order imposed on our people. The revolutionary tradition created by the Mahirs, the Denizs, the Ibrahims and the Hakis, orders us to develop resistance against fascism.
In this war, we commemorate the fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces who were martyred as a result of the attacks of the fascist T.C state and their gangs, and wish them success in their resistance and struggle. We once again reiterate that we will develop the struggle based on the memories of the SDF martyrs who are immortalized by giving a free and democratic unity of our rights and building an equal life, developing a revolutionary war with great will and determination. ”
