HPG Press Liaison Center announced the results of the action taken in Kağızman district of Kars. The description of HPG is as follows:
“Within the scope of the ongoing Revolutionary Victory Movement in Serhat Province, our forces carried out an action with sabotage tactic against a convoy of the invading Turkish army in the Geliyê Hacê area of Kars province, Kagizman district on 08 October. As a result of this action, a Hedgehog type armored vehicle was completely destroyed while 15 soldiers were killed and 3 soldiers were injured. Following the action, the occupying forces removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area via armored vehicles.
This action was carried out in memory of the immortalized Beritan (Gülnaz Karataş) on 25 October 1992. ”
