HPG Press Liasion Centre released information about the actions held under the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Move. The description of HPG details the following:
“Our forces had surveilled a group of soldiers building traps around Martyr Axin Hill. Our forces targeted these enemy soldiers around 10.30, after long periods of surveillence. 4 soldiers were killed and many soldiers were wounded in this enemy unit which was taken under intense fire from 3 arms. Another unit of the enemy in the same area tried to intervene in the field of action and our forces organized a series of sabotage actions aimed at this unit.
While a large number of soldiers were killed in the targeted enemy unit, the number of dead soldiers could not be clarified. The invading Turkish army, which suffered heavy blows, again tried to intervene in the field of action and our forces hit enemy troops from two branches. Seven enemy soldiers who were detected as a result of effective strikes were killed.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with howitzers and mortars. Our unit organizing the action has safely reached the base areas.
At 11.00, our forces organized an assassination attempt on the soldiers located on Martyr Derweş Hill and killed one enemy soldier.
At 13.10, our forces organized an action targeting the enemy units on the Martyr Sarya Hill. The positions and shelters belonging to the soldiers located near the hill were intensely hit by our forces. As a result of accurate hits, 3 enemy soldiers were killed.
After the action, the invading Turkish army took the dead and wounded soldiers away from the area with skorsky helicopters in the evening, with the support of attack helicopters. ”
ACTION FROM YJA STAR
Giving information about the action that YJA Star guerrillas carried out, HPG shared that “an assassination campaign was organised against the soldiers on Martyr Şexmus Hill on October 29th within the scope of the Revolutionary Action of Cenga Heftanin move, which is continuing in Heftanin area of Media Defense Areas. One enemy soldier was killed in this action. ”
