“Talks have been held on the subject for three days,” said Mazlum Ebdi, they “are aware of the developments and have been in contact wiht the US President Trump himself on the issue, that he sent a letter to Erdogan,” he said.
In his speech, Ebdi said, “our people should know that this cease-fire is valid for the areas between Girê Spi and Serêkaniyê, where the war is taking place. Hundreds of civilians were massacred and thousands of people were displaced. We accepted this truce. We, as QSD, will do our best to ensure that this cease-fire will be upheld. The United States is responsible for the implementation of this cease-fire. It should be ensured that our people return to their places. The goals of the occupying forces should not be achieved. There was no interview for other regions. Our forces are still in their places.”
Underlining that the ceasefire is the result of the QSD and the resistance of the people, Ebdi said, “This is the result of our resistance, the heroic struggle of the QSD, the Kurdish, Arab and Syriac fighters. It is the result of the struggle of all peoples and all the states that support our people. To this end, we salute all our friends who supported us, pressured to stop the TC attacks and greet all our friends who continue their resistance in Serekaniyê.”
Pointing out that the occupation of the Republic of Turkey is not yet complete, QSD general commander oppressed Ebdi said, “This is a beginning. Our people, our political forces should improve the struggle, Kurdish political forces should develop and strengthen their unions. ”
