The swamp has a feature that when you fall inside it pulls you down like a magnet; as the swamp draws you, you will seek ways of getting out, you will try to take one foot out and then the other. Just when you think you are saving yourself, your helpless efforts bring you to the realisation that you’re in the swamp, and that swamp will drag you to its core.
While the invading Turkish State tries to get rid of the economic swamp he has entered, he has stepped into another swamp. This swamp is a swamp of blood. Erdoğan, who plays the pawn of the USA and Russia, headed by the Turkish and imperialist forces, who continues to make war on all areas of the Kurds, continues to attack Rojava, with the hope of achieving his bloody dreams.
While the economic deadlock which Erdogan’s Turkey is cemented in continues, we should watch its patterns carefully. Its not just the rise of the dollar;
In September 2019, the deficit of the Treasury cash balance was 22 billion TL.
Perhaps more importantly, the primary balance is 11 billion TL.
Looking at the January-September period of 2019, the Treasury cash balance posted a deficit of TL 90 billion; In the same period, primary balance seems to be 13 billion TL deficit.
Treasury cash deficit was TL 90 billion in the first nine months, but the budget deficit for the whole of 2019 was 80 billion TL.
Unemployment rate is increasing, but the hunger rates have reached the highest level.
As the tourism sector sheds death, it is obvious that the bankruptcy of the British tourism company Thomas Cook has hit Turkish tourism much larger than anticipated. Sabah newspaper writer Mehmet Barlas, who published news and articles in line with the instructions of the MIT and the ruling, said in his column, “the increase in public services is in a sense to fund this war”. In this article, Mehmet Barlas actually summarized everything.
This article is a brief summary of the whole economy of the invader TC (Turkish State). Everybody closes the shutters from big tradesmen to small tradesmen. While the people cannot buy a loaf of bread, the budget allocated to the war shows how the country’s economy is conducted.
According to the report published by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI); Turkey’s defense spending increased by 24 percent and reached 19 billion dollars of annual expenditure was among the top 15 countries most emerging countries. Fascist power, which is trying to condemn its people to war by submitting its people to hunger while spending all of its economy in war, has now started an operation to occupy North and East Syria.
The war approval of the invading Turkish Republic and the AKP-MHP-CHP and the IYI party, which are organising preparations for the genocide of Kurds in northern and eastern Syria, has opened the door to a new Kurdish massacre.
The statement made by the CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who defends the Union and Teraki mentality against the war started by the occupying Turkish Republic and the chauvinist power against the Kurds, is a paradox.
What Kılıçdaroğlu said was “Side by side we will say Yes, and will burn as we do so. Pity is sin. It is my debt of conscience to share this process with our nation. We speak the truth. The man who went and surrendered to Trump will not say no.”
Did he not realize that the “Yes” he would affirm would lead to the the war which would lead to the massacre of thousands of people. Was it not CHP who hit the rulers of Turkey at every opportunity because of the ecnomic crisis they dragged the country in to? You keep saying that the Turkish state is dragging into economic chaos, but why do you not feel the need to ask where the money to be spent for the war will come from Kılıçdaroğlu!
On January 20, 2018, 72 airplanes aired in one day in the occupation of Efrin had a minimum fuel cost of over $ 1 million. He knows very well that a storm howitzer used in the invasion of Efrin alone costs $ 45-50 million during the operation. The Turkish state has an estimated 300 of these howitzers. Assuming that only about 100 of them were used in the invasion of Firat (Euphrates) and Efrin, he is aware that only 5 billion dollars was spent to cover the projectile cost of these howitzers.
The common cost of CASA-type planes and helicopters that will be used in the back service in the northern and eastern Syria region in the occupation attack which is named operation ‘Peace Spring’ will be 70 thousand dollars. But no one’s questioning it.
The occupying power, which invests its entire economy in war, uses ammunition of $ 2 million in just one day. The average price of an ordinary bomb fired by a fighter plane is $ 2,500 on average. In other words, the defense of a mentality that invests all the cost of war, namely Kılıçdaroğlu’s alibi that “a soldier’s nose should not bleed” consists of lies. The soldier’s nose is not bleeding, but his funeral is coming. As if oo one knows that every shot will take a life: who are you kidding?
