CENTRAL NEWS

Following the announcement that the alleged leader of ISIS, Ebubekir Al-Baghdadi, was killed by a joint operation of the US and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), SDF General Mazlum Ebdî shared a message through social media, stating that the ISIS spokesman Abu Hesen Al Muhacir has been killed in the Ein al-Baydah (Ayn El-Bayda) village of Cerablus.

“As operations continue, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s right-hand and ISIS spokesman, Abu Al-Hasan al-Muhacir, was targeted in the village of Ein al-Baydah, near Jarablus, with direct coordination between SDF intelligence and the US military, ”Abdi said.

Regarding the killings, another SDF official highlighted that Turkey, which did not see the presence of the ISIS leader Baghdadi located literally 5km away from its border as a security threat is demanding the forces who fought ISIS to move 32 km away from the border claiming that they constitute a security threat.
