COLOGNE
With the start of the invasion attacks of Rojava by the fascist Turkish state, Kurdish youth’s actions continue within the framework of the “Nehêle – Don’t Let it be!” move announced by TCŞ and JCA.
Activists of Cologne TCS and JCA launched a five-day tent action at the Cologne central train station on Monday (October 14th) to spread the move and stop the invading attacks. In addition to the tent action, the youth stated that they would organize marches and panels to show the whole world the massacre and war crimes committed by the occupying Turkish state in Rojava.
This week’s five-day tent action is organized by TCŞ, JCA, Defend Rojava and Young Struggle. On the second day of the tent action, the youth wil be sharing information about the AKP-MHP-ISIS mentality that wants to destroy the ethnic identity and culture of a people and cause genocide.
March of support for the Rojava resistance
The mass gathered around the tent and the growing mass walked in the evening to be the voice of the occupied Rojava resistance. The crowd marched with YPG-YPJ and TEV-DEM flags and shouted slogans in German and Kurdish. The youth chanted “Erdoğan is the terrorist,” and “Long live Rojava resistance.”
Stating that the actions will continue uninterrupted until the attacks stop, the activists ended their actions by calling all the people and internationalist friends together to the streets to stop the occupation.
