MARSEILLE
In Marseille, the reactions to the Rojava occupation continue. Kurdistanis who have been in protesting for days continue their actions uninterruptedly.
The Kurdish youth, and the friends of the Kurds held a chain action at the canabiere square of Marseilles. During the action, Tevgera Ciwanen Soresger (Revolutionairy Youth Movement) hung a giant banner on the church of Choreşgeri Réformes Canebière. The masses supported the action with sologans, whistles, and applauses.
Activists held flags of the YPG-YPJ and the peoples leader, Abdullah Ocalan. The youth condemned the Erdoğan-ISIS cooperation with photocards of the civilians who were martyred in airstrikes by the Turkish state. The mass later continued there action with a rally where politician Sabattin Hınıs said: “Today is the day of our honor, the day of the bringing down the pharaohs.” The politician later called for strong participation in weekday and weekend actions.
