The QSD Press Center announced the October 17 balance sheet, the 9th day of the invasion. They shared that the invading Turkish state did not stop the attacks despite the ceasefire to which the QSD is a party.
According to the QSD, the Turkish state and its gangs carried out intensive attacks during the day and night to enter Serêkaniyê city center. In the bombings and clashes at least 93 soldiers and gang members were killed, and 9 QSD fighters were martyred. According to the same balance sheet, an aircraft belonging to the Turkish state accidentally shot its own gangs, causing numerous deaths.

Derik:
In the evening of 17 October, the occupying Turkish army bombed the villages of Dêrik. In the bombings, civilians’ houses and properties were badly damaged. Our fighters responded by shooting targets belonging to the Turkish army in the villages of Qesir Dîb, Heyaka, Wadî al-Zîab and Şebaniyê. As a result of these clashes, 3 soldiers were killed and 1 wounded.
Amûdê:
Following violent clashes with the occupying Turkish state and gangs on the Eluk line, the invaders withdrew. A friend was injured due to the cannon shootings of the occupying Turkish army in Xereze village and other border areas, and the property belonging to civilians was damaged. Our forces responded to the invaders in the same way.
Serêkaniyê:
With heavy air strikes and cannon shots, gang groups wanted to enter the neighborhoods. There were violent clashes between our forces and gang groups in Newroz, Mehata, Zorava and Zerdeşt neighborhoods. All attacks are broken. At least 70 invaders were killed in these neighborhoods.
In addition, despite the cannon, drone and air attacks, the invading Turkish army could not enter the city hospital. Following the resistance of our fighters around the hospital, the attacks were broken and at least 10 gang members were killed. Our forces did not allow gangs to enter the city despite heavy attacks. Most of the big buildings in the city became the target of drones and planes.
Menacir and Alya lines also experienced violent clashes. Here too, civilians were injured due to intense cannon shootings.
Girê Spî:
Following the attacks, our forces organized effective actions in the west of Abu Sira and Girê Spî, and many gang members were killed in these attacks. A panzer and military vehicle were hit. In the villages of Xirbet Yusif, Wabdê and Tirwaziyê air strikes and artillery took place. Syrian forces were also targeted in these areas. Our forces responded to attacks in these villages and destroyed military vehicles, including a panzer.
There were also clashes between our forces and advanced gangs in Eynsa villages. In these areas, a fighter jet belonging to the invading army accidentally bombed the gangs. Many gang members are dead.
In total, 93 occupying gang members were killed, several gang members were injured, 4 armored vehicles, 4 military vehicles and a tank were destroyed during the clashes and resistance.
9 of our friends were martyred and 41 of our friends were injured in the clashes. ”
