The Autonomous Administration (AA) of Northern and Eastern Syria released a statement to the public in conjunction with the Turkish threats of an imminent attack, on the an poppulated by 5 million people and tens of thousands of detainees from ISIS mercenaries and their families.
The statement of the AA is as follows:
“With the escalation of threats and the mobilization of the Turkish army and its mercenaries from the hired Syrians who call themselves the Syrian National Army, to attack the border areas of northern and eastern Syria, we declare as the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria a state of public emergency for three days at the level of north and east Syria, and call upon all our administrations, institutions and people of all components to go to the border region adjacent to Turkey to do their moral duty and to show resistance in these sensitive historical moments.
We also call on all our people in all its components in Kurdistan and all over the world to do their duty towards their land and their people at home and to go on protests and sit-ins in all places of their presence, especially in the countries of diaspora.
We hold the United Nations, all its institutions, the United States of America, the European Union, Russia and all the countries and institutions that have the decision and influence in Syria affairs ful moral and emotional responsibility for any humanitarian disaster inflicted on our people in northern and eastern Syria.”
