The HPG Press Liaison Center announced the details of the guerrilla actions in Serhed and Xerzan.
The HPG statement states:
Heftanin
“Our forces organized actions within the scope of Cenga Heftanin Movement, which is ongoing in Heftanin area of the Media Defense Areas. In this context;
On October 19 at 10.30 am and 15.20 pm, our forces organized two actions against the construction machinery belonging to the occupying Turkish army around Partizan Hill. In these actions, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined while 2 digger vehicles were hit.
On October 20 at 07.50, our forces organized an action aimed at invaders located on the Partizan Hill. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action, where enemy positions and shelters were effectively shot.
Colemerg
Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movements, our forces organized an action against the invading Turkish army units on Xeregol Hill of Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari on October 20 at 09.40. In this action, where enemy positions were effectively shot down, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined.
Agri
Within the scope of the ongoing Revolutionary Victory Movement in Serhat Province, our forces carried out a revolutionary operation against the Vedat Özkaya police guard station located in the Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) district in Ağrı.
In this action where enemy targets were effectively hit from 3 arms, the Hedgehog type armored vehicle and Amarog type vehicle were destroyed and a tank in the station was hit. 18 soldiers were killed in this comprehensive action.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army, with the support of assault helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles, removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with numerous Skorsky helicopters. Our unit organizing the action has safely reached base areas.
Bedlis
There were clashes between our forces and the invaders in the Martyr Mizgin area of Bitlis at 08.30 on 20 October. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in these clashes in which many enemy soldiers were killed could not be determined. The occupying forces launched an operation in the area following the conflict.
On October 21st (today) at 06.00. 3 soldiers were killed and many soldiers were wounded in this enemy unit which was taken under intense fire from close range. After the protest, the invading Turkish army, which had removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area, withdrew from the area without results.”
