BEHDINAN – According to the HPG Press Office statement on the action, guerrillas targeted a checkpoint of the Turkish military in the vicinity of the Hedit village in Şırnak’s Silopi district on July 27, 2019.
A container, an armored vehicle and soldiers at the checkpoint were struck effectively. At least 3 soldiers were confirmed killed and one other wounded in the action, after which the Turkish army closed the Silk Road to traffic till the evening hours.
