SOLOTHURN – Kurdish youth living in Europe met at a Summer Camp organisted in Switzerland from 6 to 10 August.
More than 70 Kurdish and internationalist youth from Germany, France and Switzerland attended the camp. The youth spent four days in the camp, surrounded by nature, away from the consumer life of capitalist modernity, living in a communal way fulfilling all their needs and daily tasks for themselves.
The young people participated in discussions on the history of Kurdistan, the problems they face in Europe and gender, and organized sports tournaments.
Young people who left the camp satisfied, said that being away from the system, sharing and bound with nature had a positive effect on them.
