BEHDINAN – In a written statement, the People’s Defense Center Headquarters Command congratulated the guerrillas in Dicle, district of Amed, for the action targeting police special operation teams.
The statement said: “On 24 August, a successful action against Tepe Tim police station was carried out by guerrillas in Dicle. The action got results and sent a powerful message to the enemy. This action reflects the spirit of the period and has caused heavy losses to enemy forces. This action, which was developed by targeting the positions, huts and armored vehicles on the hill, enjoys the appreciation of all comrades.”
The statement added: “The Kurdistan freedom guerrilla shows that we are close to victory. The heroic resistance of the guerrilla uprising in Kurdistan, which is the answer to this fascist mentality, is able to dismantle the lies of the enemy.”
