YPG Press and Liaison Center made a written statement on the 7th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution. The YPG commemorated all martyrs of the revolution and stressed that they would protect the gains of the revolution.
The explanation is as follows:
“The July 19 Revolution, which is based on moral society, is entering its 8th year. The revolution was organized on the basis of social equality. The peoples of northern and eastern Syria established a system based on a democratic and free life around the 19 July Revolution.
The method of the brotherhood of the peoples established on this basis became the basis for saving all humanity from ISIS terrorism and now producing solutions. Our forces also took responsibility in the process of revolution on the basis of legitimate defence and took historical steps to serve the people and the country.
Achievements and victories are undoubtedly the product of great sacrifices. The children of this land made great sacrifices and sacrificed their lives to defend their people.
On this basis, our forces will continue the mission of protecting the gains of the revolution. We will protect our people without hesitation until a dignified and free life is achieved.
We commemorate our martyrs once again on the occasion of the anniversary of the Rojava Revolution. We reiterate our promise to continue our struggle against the lines of resistance. We congratulate the Rojava Revolution to the people of North and East Syria once again. ”
