BRADOST
While the occupation attacks of the occupying Turkish state in Bashure Kurdistan have been going on for a long time, the occupiers have recently attacked citizens living in many areas in the Bradost area of Sidekan, and Hewlêr.
A young boy named Reyan Zubeyr was attacked by the invading Turkish soldiers while sheep grazing in the village of Alikan, Bradost yesterday morning. Turkish soldiers randomly shot at the area which Reyan Zubeyr was, seeing that there were no settlements in the region. The target of the bullets was the child, who fled in fear of his life.
Reyan Zubeyr and Aram Zubeyr, who was attacked, explained the attack to RojNews.
Reyan Zûbeyr said “Yesterday morning at 06.00 I went out of the village to graze the sheep. When I arrived near the sheep, Turkish soldiers started shooting the area. Some bullets fell as close as 50 meters. I left the sheep because of the Turkish soldiers and ran away. After the attack, I was only able to get some of the sheep, the rest remained there. The Turkish state knew that I was a shepherd and targetted me.
Aram Zûbeyr, who reacted to the invasion attacks of the Turkish state, said: “Our lives are in danger because of the presence of Turkish soldiers in the region. The Turkish state is attacking Başur and its villages to invade the region. Due to the presence of Turkish soldiers, it was very difficult to live here. Day and night we are not comfortable in our own house. The aim of the Turkish state is for us to leave our house and village and go.
Helicopters come in at night, bomb the villages around, and the unexploded ordnance remains inside the village. Ammunition is also very dangerous for children. The villagers living in the village of Alikan, Xelîfan and Siran in the region are going through very difficult times due to the presence of Turkish soldiers. ”
Siran village was completely evacuated due to the attacks of the Turkish state and the presence of soldiers, who are travelling in the region. The aim of the Turkish state is not the PKK, but the Kurds. Despite the lack of PKK in the region, they are constantly attacking the places inhabited by civilians.
The Turkish state wants us to leave our village with attacks and pressures. But these dreams will not come true, we will not leave our village no matter what. ”
