Occupying Turkish soldiers have launched yet another operation, in Wan’s rural areas of Bükîc (Aşkan), Çizgili (Avan), Taşlıyazı (Axçûrî) and Bağdere (Silila) which are connected to Payîzava (Gürpınar).
While it was disclosed that the number of soldiers is substantial, it was discovered that a large number of soldiers carried out joint operations in the Feraşin plateau.
It had been reported that in the surrounding areas of the Kırkgeçit (Qesirk) police station, the soldiers are carrying out minibus searches and citizens who want to go to their neighbourhoods are made to wait for long periods of time. The civilians are being treated as suspects, being questioned about who they are carrying their supplies to.
