HPG has released a statement, detailing actions within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya revolutionary operations. It was shared that a military convoy of the Turkish State was hit in Colemêrg, 13 invading Turkish soldiers were killed as a result of the action.
The statement is as follows:
“Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya revolutionary operations, our women’s force, YJA Star, carried out an action between the regions of Kani Orê and Şiva Stêrk areas on July 21. Our YJA Star forces targetted a military convoy of armoured vehicles at 20.30, travelling to Central Hakkari.
In this action, where all the vehicles in the convoy were put under intense fire, a hedgehog type armoured vehicle was effectively shot and completely destroyed. As a result of this action, 13 enemy soldiers were killed.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army removed the vehicle debris and dead soldiers from the area with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles. Our unit organizing the action has safely reached their base areas.
Warplanes of the invading Turkish army carried out airstrikes against the Media Defense Areas using fighter aircraft:
Hakkari Hill, which is connected to Metina region was bombed at 02.30 on 19 July, while the Golka area of Metina region was bombed at 21.30 on 20 July.
On July 22, at 15.00, the Hell Hill of the Zap region was bombed, the Adılbeg area of the Avaşin region was bombed later at 17.00, and between the hours of 18.00 and 19.00, the Xınerê and Şehit Beritan areas of the Xakurkê region were bombed.
We did not suffer any loss in these bombings. ”
