Turkey Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced inflation figures for June. Consumer Price Index (CPI), rose by 0.03 percent on a monthly basis in June, the annual increase was 15.72 percent.
Accordingly, the two-month averages were 19.88 percent increase.
MONTH TO MONTH, INCREASE FROM YEAR TO YEAR
The highest monthly increase was in the restaurants and hotels group with 2.65 percent. The main expenditure groups in June 2019 in the index groups, 1.86 percent in various goods and services, 1.50 percent in education, health and household goods increased by 0.57 percent.
In CPI, household goods, restaurants and hotels 20.84 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco 19.24 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages 19.24 percent, respectively it was.

In June 2019, CPI excluding unprocessed food products, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and gold rose by 1.19 percent compared to the previous month, 4.59 percent compared to December of the previous year and 16.28 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
