Martyr Xelil Jehat Revenge Unit, carried out a sabotage action to the natural gas pipeline in Sultan Ahmet Square.

According to the statement, on June 12 at 14.00, in one of the tourism centres of the occupying Turkish state, Sultan Ahmed Square, a sabotage took place. After the action, the crime scene was surrounded by the police and the results of this action could not be clarified. The details of the action remain unclear.

On the evening of 21 June, the group stated that they had set fire to a digger working in the construction of the natural gas pipeline in Istanbul and said that “the bucket that continued to burn for a long time, becoming unusable.”

The group stated that the gains from tourism “entered into the dirty war of the occupying Turkish state and falls as bombs to the geography of Kurdistan. Therefore, tourism centres will continue to be our target.”
