Mexmûr’s Martyr Rüstem Cudi Camp was bombarded continuously by the invading Turkish army. Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) issued a statement today and called on the Kurdish youth living in Europe to take immediate action.
The statement made by TCŞ is as follows:
The invading Turkish army bombed Martyr Rüstem Cudi Camp, a civilian settlement in Mexmûr last night. This attack on civilian areas, which ISIS had previously targeted and seized, once again reminded us how intertwined the occupying Turkish Republic and ISIS gangs are. Both the UN and Southern Kurdistan parties were silenced to death in the face of bombs thrown into the Martyr Rüstem Cudi Camp, which is supposedly under the protection of the United Nations.
Mexmûr is one of the most honoured symbols of uncompromising resistance in the face of persecution, massacres, and assimilation imposed on the Kurdish people. The attack on our resistance symbol, Mexmûr, has been carried out against the human values of all of us and the whole of Kurdistan.
The Kurdish youth will not allow the invaders to target and destroy the life knitted in Mexmûr through heavy costs. Kurdish youth’s stance against these attacks carried out by the invaders together with Southern collaborators is a resistance on the line of Şehit Eli Çiçek and Şehit Hasan Şirnex.
On this basis, in order to claim Mexmûr, we urge all the young people of Kurdistan living in Europe to go to the arenas immediately and to enlarge their actions. ”
