What we will focus on here, is the special warfare strategy. These special warfare strategies can be considered under three main headings:
1: Irregular warfare
2: Stability operation
3: Psychological warfare.
The special warfare strategy is based on this tripod. As this tripod is set up, a mission is laid out for each leg. For example, when we say ‘irregular warfare,’ it is the counter-guerrilla movement. And the counter-guerrilla movement is handled in the form of special warfare and carried out together with the underground and surface elements.
’Stability operation’ is military coups. These consist of so-called destabilized and stabilized sections.
Psychological warfare, on the other hand, aims to distort the consciousness of the society, to direct it by influencing its consciousness, to surrender and break the will, in this sense. This is developed in different forms of propaganda. These are called white propaganda, black propaganda, and grey propaganda. How do they become concretized, realized, and shaped?
The third interpretation of the private war according to our definition is that the regimes are shaped according to private warfare. In fact, this section is the one we should pay attention to, to understand the truth and the results which follow. It is the possession of the control mechanism in the hands of the executioner.
In the first stage, the special war is developed by a strategy which is transformed into politics and becomes the regime itself. For example, it is called ‘Turkish special war regime’ today. The shaping of regimes according to the private warfare and its transformation into this dimension is in fact the most terrible form the private warfare which has taken; because the tools used has ceased to be a mere tool and has become a goal in itself, using everything to its service. It uses the economy, culture and politics, and the private war it wages becomes vital for its existence. This is perhaps the most dangerous and lasting effect of the private war. The fact remains that in different parts of the world this has become a permanent power.
We will focus on these three points in dealing with the reality of private warfare. Sometimes we will deal with these points together while we focus on these points. This is because the implementation of special war as a strategy and special war gradually turns this into a system and a regime and sometimes causes these points to intertwine and unite. Therefore, we will discuss it as a whole, but we will evaluate it by decomposing it for better understanding from time to time.
The most concrete application of this, which is practised in Kurdistan and Turkey will express the truth. What is special warfare in Turkey, what is implemented and how is special warfare carried out in Kurdistan?
By condemning the private warfare in our own personalities, we will overcome the weaknesses and effects in our personalities and carry our struggle against the regime of the Turkish Republic to victory.
Special forces:
When it comes to private warfare, special operations are primarily understood. This way, society is misled. Special warfare is not limited to the actions of specially trained commandos or Rambo-type people, punishing society with physical force. This distortion gives way to manipulation.
In this way, private war is wanted to be imposed on society. But there are many other ways and means of imposing it. Today there are war games on computers, small children are given arcade games. This may seem unimportant, or even funny to an extent. And this is exactly where special, psychological warfare has already won. It is made so abstract that the society does not even realise what these games are preparations of. The reality is that this is the training and conditioning of young people, who make up a large part of the society, for war.
In this way, war becomes an ordinary part of everyday life. What kind of influences do the computer, the arcade war games, the killings, raids have on the person who has the ability to hold a weapon or who will have the opportunity to take over that weapon, the first opportunity they get? Of course, he begins to apply his knowledge and excitement, pulling the bullet to the barrel of the gun, letting the vicious, irreversible pellet penetrate a living being.
This is one of the reasons why violence tendencies are so widespread in society. This is one of the main reasons for intolerance in society and approaches aiming to eliminate violence by violating human beings rather than a humanitarian view of problems and solutions approaching. Therefore, the limitation of the use of firearms in many parts of the world, toy guns being forbidden to children, is pivotal.
Nevertheless, special war films, which are released on the market, are used as a means of encouraging society to war. If you pay attention to these films, the theme is always the same. For what political reasons did the war arise and in whose interests? A military staff assembles and decides to put them forward. Target; The goal is to drop the castle, to kill people, to raid, and accordingly, the level of education is set.
Thus, there is a limited narrative exposing the achievement of military operations by special, psychological elements. This is imposed on society and the developing generation, and as a result, it is inevitable that the person who takes the consciousness imposed on him and shapes himself according to this becomes a war machine. In many countries such as Turkey, they have developed special military strategists and establish it as extremely self-conscious. With the developed policies, the problem of staff and personnel of the private war is tried to be solved. Today, in Kurdistan, many people used in special operations forces are unconscious in this way and are recruited from the sections ready to be used as desired.
This provides only one aspect of the establishment of the private war, but not the private war itself. It can be described as a deviation and deflection. Such an approach can also be effective in some of our friends who are not aware of why we put the legitimate defence of special warfare on our agenda, sometimes we cannot relate the war to politics, community life, the future of society and the economy. There are also approaches that take the war as an adventure, limiting it to hit-and-break. These approaches lead to extremes in war. The fact that war is disconnected from the cause, causes extremes. This is the reason for the emergence of extremities in the war.
When private war is considered as a special operation, it becomes inevitable methods developed are applied accordingly. In this context, all kinds of ways and methods to be used are used in the special war. For example, prisoners have rights in war, but prisoners have no rights in prison. Whether the target is reached from a point, whether there is a presence of segments that should be exempted from war at that location is unimportant. Such segments are now the target of the war. For example, there are those who are exempted from the war in the international arena are civilians, journalists, health workers, people working in human rights organizations, etc. They are always exempt from war. But when the private war is handled and put into practice, it doesn’t matter the presence or absence of people who are exempted from the war at the intended and targeted location. All of them can be destroyed very easily, again seized people can be decapitated, their corpses can be played with, and this savagery can be made a topic of engagement and pride.
These are situations that are constantly occurring in circumstances where the dimension of private war cannot be calculated as a special operation and related to the life and future of society. This has happened throughout the world. The US special forces in Vietnam have practised this extensively.
The Turkish state has implemented this in Kurdistan. So much so that those who waged such wars have increasingly taken the formation of gangs. Even under the conditions of war or when outside the war, such individuals or circles have behaved and lived in accordance with the identity of a product of special warfare. As a result, they have plagued society. Some of them have had psychological problems and need to be treated or they have been destroyed individually by the people-forces who use them in private warfare.
The fact that special operations are handled with a special application dimension and kept away from the aim, creates such results. Therefore, we will not push aside the fact that special operations involve special training. It is a special war because it contains special actions. The goal is privatization. The privatized target is destined for destruction. It is the use of every means and methods to destroy and mobilize all possibilities in this direction.
As this particular action expands, it isolates the area it infests. When isolated from the whole, the irregularity applied in a single action is growing. When it becomes a strategy, it generally becomes an unregulated, intensified war. In this respect, the fact that special war is handled together with special operations makes it a strategic fact. It expresses such an integrated role. In other words, private warfare is considered as a method applied in special operations. Therefore, we do not deal with an approach that restricts private war to private operations. But we do not consider it as separate and independent from it.
It is necessary to see here that the approach of the sovereigns, which restricts the private war to special operations, conceals its special purpose and tries to make the private war attractive to the society by directing the society in this way, is to distort the reality of private war. Special war equals are not the subject of action films. There may be such actions in the private war, but this is not the private war itself. Private war is a strategy developed by the sovereigns as an unregulated, intensified and immeasurable war. This is the Turkey-Kurdistan experience in concrete.
It is also useful to dwell on a point here. The room is the reality of our special forces. We have a reality of war. In the past, we have seen what happened in the depths of history as just wars. Today, we consider it as self-defence battles. We will naturally have measures to protect ourselves, the values of natural society and socialism in the self-defence war. We will establish self-defence forces. If a special dirty war is being waged against the PKK, we will maintain the guerrilla forces. If there are attacks on us for destruction, we will take measures to eliminate those attacks. All of them fall into self-defence.
In other words, the PKK is developing war on the basis of self-defence. After the 2000s, the Special Forces organization was entered as a movement. We should not confuse this organization with the special war forces mentioned above. Occasionally, there may be confusion due to the similarity of the name. Our special forces are based on a completely legitimate defence. The tactics used are developed for self-protection. Therefore, there is absolutely no similarity.
In another aspect, the special forces also mean that the guerrilla revises and renews itself from abrasions if any. It should be possible to give meaning to the fact that special forces developed in our country by seeing this difference.
