The 4th anniversaries of 33 dream passengers who were martyred in Pirsus by gang leader Erdoğan’s DAESH gangs on 20 July 2015. Let alone the presence of perpetrators in the process, gang leader Erdoğan attacks every opportunity to the families of the martyrs of Pirsus.
We spoke with Alev Özkiraz, co-chairman of the Federation of Socialist Youth Associations, for the 4th year of the Pirsus massacre. SGDF co-chair Alev Özkiraz said that Suruç is one of the best examples of the united struggle for youth.
COOPERATION AN COLLABORATION
Özkiraz pointed out that despite all the evidence, the trial is still under the cooperation of the gang leader, Erdogan.
“We are subject to various hearings for the last 4 years after the Suruç massacre. The 10th hearing will also take place in August. We could not find any justice, despite ongoing demand for 4 years. The fact that the perpetrators are not punished despite all these years shows that there is no total justice and judiciary in society.
The absence of a full trial, while the people are still mad, shows that there is still cooperation and the massacre has taken place with these collaborators.”
STARTING IN SURUC AND FINISHING IN SURUC
Özkiraz called for youth and ended her speech with the following sentences: “Suruç is the best example of the united struggle. Therefore, it is probably one of the greatest messages that can be given to start the demands of justice and freedom in Suruç, to finish in Suruç, and to say justice for Suruç.
We call on youth to fight together. We can only do justice and freedom here. ”
