QSD Official Spokesman Kîno Gabriyêl, from North and East Syria, made a statement on behalf of the QSD, regarding rocket thrown across the border to Urfa.
The statement is as follows:
“On the evening of July 22, artillery shells were thrown to the border of Turkey, specifically the Ceylanpınar district of Urfa, by unidentified persons, resulting in a group of civilians being injured.
In this incident, which was carried out by unidentified persons for the purpose of blackmail, the aim was corruption and to cause damage to the region.
An investigation was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) and security forces to identify the perpetrators of the incident.
We wish an urgent recovery to the injured. ”
