QAMIŞLO
The Cizre Region Culture and Art Committee has completed the preparations of the 3rd Martyr Herekol Book Fair to be held this year. The exhibition, organized in memory of the Kurdish intellectual Hisên Şawîş (Herekol), who was martyred in a traffic accident on 20 July 2016, is held on 20 July each year.
The Zana Hall in Qamişlo will be held for 5 days and will include panels, seminars and cultural and artistic events.
Many publishers will sign their works at the fair where 34 publishers will exhibit their books.
The fair, which will start tomorrow, will be open to visitors between 10.00-21.00 hours.
