ŞÊLADIZÊ

The occupying Turkish soldiers have been filmed digging trenches around the Sirê Military Base in Şêladizê of Amediy district of Dıhok with construction machinery. According to local sources, the invading Turkish soldiers have been digging trenches around Sirê Military Base with heavy machinery for the last few days.

The invading Turkish troops were also seen carrying military shipments to their base.

Turkish warplanes attacked Derealok and Hetûtê in Şêladizê on 24 January and massacred 4 civilians. The people of Şêladizê signed a grand resistance against the Turkish occupation.

Why trenches?

At a time when the occupation attacks of the occupying Turkish state increased, the ditches and military shipments around Sirê Military Base in Şêladizê were questioned. Another military shipment to the same base was made on June 30, in the Sirê Military Base in Şêladizê.

20 occupying Turkish soldiers killed, on the other hand, in an action where Kurdish self-defence forces targetted the Turkish base in the district of Dihok Zaxo and the Girê Bîyê Police Station on June 7.
