BRADOST
The invasion carried out by the Turkish state against Bashur of Kurdistan, continues. The youth who launched a live shield action in protest of the occupation begun in Qendil on June 14, and Bradost on June 24. The live shield action in Qendil continues on the 37th day, while the action in Bradost continues on the 27th day.
Live Shield activists Hozan Çiya, Navdar Başur, Amed Başur spoke to our Agency about their actions.
Hozan Çiya said that they had spent their days with great morale and enthusiasm and said: “as it is known, the invading Turkish state has started an attack against Başurê Kurdistan. We have also started the live shield actions against these attacks. The government must act against the attacks.”
Navdar Başur, who has participated in the live shield protests since the first day, said: “our action against the invading Turkish state’s attacks, has reached its 27th day. We will not give up our actions for as long as these attacks occur.”
Amed Bashur pointed out the following: “the attack to Bashur of Kurdistan, is an attack on the whole of Kurdistan. Therefore, the youth must pass to the total resistance. To stop these violent attacks of the occupying Turkish state, we call on youth activity.”
