HPG Press Liasion Center (BIM) made a written statement, sharing details of the actions organized by HPG and YJA Star guerrillas.
In Hakkari, Gever, at least 13 soldiers were killed in the actions on the Martyr Sarya Hill in Xakurkê.

Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya’s Revolutionary Movement, our forces have organized effective actions against the invading Turkish army. The details of the actions taken in this context are as follows:
In the Kaportê village of Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari; the people names Haşim Hasın and Cebeli Bali, have been repeatedly warned by our forces to not work with the occupying Turkish army. Our forces have organised an action on July 23, at 22.00, burning 3 trucks, 2 diggers and a large number of construction materials on a construction site that belonged to those people who ignored our warnings.
Destroyed 4 Positions in Gever: 12 Soldiers Killed
At 08.00 on July 24, our forces organized an action against the invading Turkish army located on the Martyr Afat Hill of the Gever district. Enemy positions and shelters were intensively attacked under close fire and 4 enemy positions were completely destroyed, while 12 enemy soldiers were killed.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army, with the support of numerous attack helicopters, removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area by skorsky helicopters.
On the same day, at 12.20, our YJA Star forces organized an assassination attempt against the invading Turkish soldiers trying to cut down the trees in the forest area around Martyr Sarya Hill for the ongoing occupation operation in the Xakurkê region from the Media Defense Areas. 1 soldier in the target enemy unit has been killed.
Following the action against the soldiers on the Martyr Sarya Hill, our forces targeted a digger vehicle belonging to the invading Turkish army at Martyr Derweş Hill in Xakurkê region at 19.30. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where the digger vehicle was intense fire.
Turkish Warplanes Bombed Around Bêpalan Village of Qendil
On July 24, between 16.00 and 17.30, the fighters bombed the Bêpalan village in the Kandil region from the Media Defense Areas and the Kurojahro area in the Zap region at 20.15.
