KOBANÊ

While the people of Kobanê came to the city to bring toys to the children, a march was organized for 33 young people who were martyred by gang leader Erdoğans DAESH gangs in Pirsus 4 years ago.

Kobanê masses gathered in front of the hospital, photos of the martyrs and torches were held in the memory of the martyrs. The people marched towards the two parks they made in memory of the martyrs.

During the march, the people shouted slogans condemning the massacre, which came to an end near the border of the occupying Turkish state. Here, a giant banner of photographs of martyrs was hung and torches were left around.

Speaking at the commemoration, Silêman, the Director of the Assembly of Martyrs’ Families, Silêman said, “The students who wanted to come to Kobanê for the reconstruction of Kobanê and bringing children toys were massacred. Did these young people raise arms against the Turkish state? Were these students terrorists? The students were massacred. Despite the massacres, we will continue the struggle of the peoples until they achieve victory.”

The ceremony ended with slogans.
