Co-chair of the KCK Executive Council, Bêsê Hozat, told the KJK Coordination, which reacted to the attacks on K24 Television and said, “We call on all democratic public and the public to be sensitive to this immoral attitude towards women fighting for their country and society. The K24 television is conducting an ugly, hostile private war policy against our people and women.”
KJK said:
“Our struggle for women’s freedom carries the great struggle of creating free life in Kurdistan, the Middle East and the world with great determination, consciousness and belief. The women’s libertarian, ecological and democratic line of our leadership has led women to a great illumination and development of society.
In this sense, the 21st century has been a century of emancipation for Kurdish women. Women who have been marginalized, colonized and enslaved for thousands of years due to our leadership’s strategic approach to women’s freedom have taken their places in all areas of life.
Women are a great pioneer in the liberation of society by putting their great vital potentials and energies at the service of socialization. The principle that women do not work for a sovereign, tyrant, liar man but for the freedom of the whole society and women is a sacred, developing principle. Nowadays, it is our movement that proves that the liberation of the individual and the liberation of the women go through social freedom.
Today, millions of Kurdish women are leading the way in political, military and social fields with great effort, the concentration of thought, sacrifice and courage. Women’s altruism that developed against the attacks of fascist ISIS gangs in recent history has been accepted and admired by the whole world.
In this context, our women’s freedom movement has reached a level that will be taken as a pioneer and exemplary reference all over the world with the level of army and organization. It is also a very important and historic step that our Kurdish freedom struggle accepts co-presidency and equal representation as a principle and is able to practice it in all areas of struggle. Such an understanding of womens freedom and pioneering is not present in the European countries that are seen as progressionist’s.
On this basis, today, millions of Kurdish women are carrying out the works of women’s revolution together with all Middle Eastern women within the framework of democratic confederalism and democratic nation understanding.
Our women struggle for liberty, resistance and freedom has become a centre of great appreciation, respect and love, within the middle east and many parts of the world.
The attacks developed under the leadership of the Turkish state due to the achievements of our Kurdish freedom movement in Kurdistan and the Middle East in such a process can be understood. The Turkish state wants to get results on the basis of its cooperation with KDP while carrying out these attacks. The KDP, which did not come to national unity and democratization, reflected this line in the ugliest way, especially through the press.
The latest KCK co-chairman, Bêsê Hozat, was the topic of an ugly attack on K 24 TV. Personalities who should be the last to utter the word ‘politics’, who are afraid of struggling, money-loving people, speak in a very low-level, immoral manner from the screens of K24. This reveals the dire situation in which both these personalities and this program are present.
The attacks developed against the friend of Bêsê Hozat friend are aimed to be developed against all free women fighters, women pioneers and all women who want to be free. For this reason, KJK strongly condemns the TV channel K24 and those who made this ugly program.
In the face of this immoral attitude developed against women fighting for their country and society, we call for sensitivity to the whole democratic public and our people. K24 television is conducting an ugly, hostile private war policy against our people, our women. Our people, women should never watch K24 television that makes such ugly programs. We call on the campaign to boycott K24.
We will continue to develop our awareness of freedom against these ugly attacks targetting the free female personality. Our free struggle for women will succeed and win the glory of the women’s revolution in the face of the dominant, tyrant, false male system and its representatives. ”
