On the 4th annıversary of the Suruc massacre, the KCK Executive Council co-chairman made a statement.
KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency statement as follows:
33 members of the Federation of Socialist Youth Societies (SGDF) were murdered in Suruç, with the partnership of young MIT and ISIS. The youth were on their way to support the Kobanê resistance 4 years ago. We commemorate the 33 young socialist revolutionist with gratitude and respect; we promise we will achieve a free Kurdistan, a democratic Middle East, and a democratic Turkey, which is their aspirations. We also strongly condemn the air raid on the Maxmur Camp, and wish the wounded a speedy recovery.
THE FIGHT OF DEMOCRATISATION IS WANTED TO BE SUPPRESSED BY THE AKP – ISIS ALLIANCE
Since July 24, 4 years of war against Kurdish democratic forces have been started with this attack. the struggle of Kurdish democratic forces aiming to democratise Turkey has been wanted to be suppressed by the alliance of AKP and ISIS.
On October 10, 2015, in Ankara Train Station a massacre was carried out for this purpose. These massacres are an indication of how much the joint struggle of the democratic forces and the Kurdish people frightened the AKP and ISIS. However, fear did not help; ISIS was defeated by the joint struggle of the Kurdish people and the forces of democracy and the AKP-MHP fascist power has been brought to the brink of defeat.
THE TARGET IS TO HINDER THE UNITY OF THE KURDISH PEOPLE AND DEMOCRACY FORCES AND THE COMMON FIGHT
Genocidal colonialism has always feared the unity and joint struggle of the Kurdish people and the forces of democracy. For this reason, it has been waging a special war against the Kurdish people for a hundred years to prevent the unity and joint struggle of the forces of democracy. However, the massacre of 33 revolutionaries in Suruç, and the Ankara Railway Station on 10 October shows that this policy was frustrated.
Although this joint struggle was wanted to be prevented by these attacks, these martyrs became the signature of the common struggle. Democratic Turkey will no longer be blocked from this common struggle, the Free Democratic Kurdistan and the Middle East must be carried out.
AKP-MHP alliance led by Turkey has revealed that all the reaction centre in the Middle East. Any reaction, despotism and fascism in the Middle East will be defeated by the struggle of Kurdish people and democratic forces. This reality is the dialectic and the law of the struggle for freedom and democracy in the Middle East.
In recent years, Turkey, Kurdistan and developments in the political and military fields in the Middle East have demonstrated this reality to everyone. It was once again seen that the struggle always had a character that shed light on all the facts.
MIDDLE EAST’S FREE AND DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE
It has now been clearly shown that Turkey is not only the peoples of the democratization of Turkey; but is the key to a free and democratic life for all the peoples of the Middle East.
The fascist AKP-MHP power wants to prevent the democratization of Turkey, ready to commit all kinds of attacks against democracy in Turkey. This reality shows that all the peoples of the Middle East and all the democratic forces of the world should struggle against this aggression. Anyone who wants the democratization, peace and stability of the Middle East has such a responsibility.
MAXMUR ATTACK IS AN ATTACK TO ALL THE KURDISH PEOPLE
The Turkish state’s attack on the people of Maxmur in Southern Kurdistan with oppression, violence and village evacuations is the result of hostility to democracy and freedom; the same as in the 1990s. This attack aims to intimidate the matriotic people of Kurdistan. The AKP-MHP government targets everyone who does not submit to their hostility to Kurdish and democracy.
In this respect, the biggest obstacle to the fascist genocide system is the Kurdish people and the struggle for freedom.
Whoever sees the attacks of AKP-MHP fascism solely against the PKK and the Kurds is in a historical blunder and deceives themselves. The attack was against all Kurdish people, the political gains of the Kurds and the forces of democracy. On this basis, we call on the Kurdish people in every part of Kurdistan, all the Middle Eastern peoples and world democracy forces to raise the struggle against the AKP-MHP fascism.
Those who were killed in Suruç on 20 July and on 10 October in Ankara Station created the line of political struggle to be followed. We urge all Kurdish people and democratic forces to raise the struggle against AKP-MHP fascism in line with this political line and to free the Middle Eastern peoples from such inhuman political mentality and aggression. ”
