KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency sent a message of condolences to the family of Diyar Xerîb, a member of the KCK Presidential Council, who was martyred by occupying Turkish warplanes on 5 July.
The message was read by Xebat Hewlêrî, a member of the KCK Executive Council, at the memorial site established in Sulaymaniyah.
KCK’s condolences message is as follows:
“The loss of Comrade Helmet is a great pain for you as well as for us, our movement, our matriotic people and for the whole of Basurê Kurdistan. When we fulfil the dreams of Comrade Helmet, our pain will alleviate to some extent.
With the martyrdom of Comrade Helmet, the Kurdish Freedom Movement and especially Basurê Kurdistan were wanted to be hit. The adoption of Martyr Helmet by you and the people of Basurê Kurdistan will be a reference for us to achieve his dreams.
Comrade Helmet was an exemplary revolutionary and pioneer in the 25 years of struggle in the ranks of the PKK, the freedom movement. The clean education he received from the family and the Leader Apo made him a moral, political and social personality.
Comrade Helmet, a member of the KCK General Presidency Council and a member of the Central Committee of the PKK, had previously been at the forefront of the work in Basurê Kurdistan. He was the President of the PÇDK.
While performing his duties seriously, he was a friend of great social understanding. For this, he was always educating the people and his comrades. He carried out a great effort to form a national unity. He insisted on the libertarian of Leader Apo. The attack on him is also an attack on the idea and philosophy of Leader Apo.
It is very valuable to protect our martyrs. We promise you and our people: the goals and dreams of Comrade Helmet and all the martyrs’ will be achieved, by hitting heavy blows to the enemy and punishing the collaborators.
The goals that Comrade Helmet gave his life for, will definitely reach success.”
